Constellation #3 is an immersive environmental installation realised by applying photo luminescent pigments on hundreds and hundreds of stones. Work explores the poetics of nature and the special relation between the sky and the earth by proposing an overturning of the two dimensions. The distant location, and the use of sunlight to charge the pigment, raises questions about light pollution and energy use.
The installation also creates an opportunity for enjoying collective an experience in between reality and fiction; People are invited, during the night, to walk on the ocean of stars that the artist created.
